16 Natural Homemade Skin Whitening Recipes

When it comes to skin bleaching, you have 2 main routes to take:

1) Homemade remedies

2) Skin whitener products (buy online for the best deals)

Even though homemade remedies can be all-natural, its needed to  be pointed out that these are generally not as effective as lotions, soaps or creams that you can purchase.  That said, below are the most popular home remedies for you to try.

Natural Home Remedies

You will notice many similarities between these remedies. That is because these remedies were created with household objects, but only a few household objects can help with skin whitening.

Grate a tomato, and then mix this with a few drops of lemon juice. Apply this mixture to your face, and wash off with water after 20 minutes.

Combine 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of milk, and 1/2 tsp of almond oil. Once mixed, spread it over your face like a mask. Rinse off after 20 minutes.

Soak a handful of almonds overnight in pure water. In the morning, peel them and then grind them into a fine powder. Add a small amount of water and honey, turning it into a paste. Apply this to your skin, and then scrub off after it dries.

Combine equal amounts of lemon, cucumber and tomato juice. Then throw in some sandalwood powder, making it into a paste. Apply it to your face, and scrub off after it has dried.

Allow a few almonds to soak in water overnight. The next evening, create a paste by grinding the almonds into powder and combining it with milk. Apply the paste, and leave it on for 2 hours, twice a day.

Peel an orange and allow the peels to dry. Once dried, grind them into a powder, and combine it with milk. Raw milk works best, but most people do not have access to raw milk. In that case, regular milk works fine. Apply this mixture to your skin, let it dry, and then scrub it off.

Raw potato juice is the simplest home remedy that we found. Even though it takes a bit of work to get juice out of potatoes (we recommend a juicer), it can be worth it if you don’t want to combine multiple ingredients together.

In a bowl, mix together 1 tbsp of gram flour, 3 drops of lemon juice, and 2 tsp of milk. Again, raw milk works best, but regular milk works fine. Spread the mixture over your skin, and rinse off after about 20 minutes.

Make a paste with oatmeal, tomato juice, and curd. Apply it to your face for 20 minutes at a time, and then rinse off with cold water.

Combine a pinch of turmeric, 3 drops of milk cream, 2 drops of lemon juice, and 2 tbsp of gram flower. This paste should be scrubbed off after it dries.

Olive oil and sugar can mix well together for a face scrub. We recommend using sugar with large granules- not very fine sugars.

White vinegar is a simple but effective way to lighten the complexion and cure acne. We recommend adding it to a cotton ball and wiping your face with it.

Buttermilk is another decent skin bleaching remedy. All you have to do is soak a cotton ball in the buttermilk, then rub it onto your face. Let it stand for about 15 minutes before you rinse it off.

Peel a ripe papaya and remove the seeds. Place into a powerful blender and blend until the papaya is soft and smooth. Apply to your face by massaging it into the skin with your fingers. After 10 minutes, wash off the papaya with warm water.

Combine raw honey and papaya (peeled and seeds removed) in a blender. After blending to a smooth mixture, apply to the face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Regular aloe vera lotion (used to heal sunburns) may help remove skin blemishes such as scars, acne and age spots. Apply a thin layer over the face and allow it to dry. Do not rinse or wipe it off.

Best Way to Whiten Your Skin Naturally?

After a lot of testing, we found that these home remedies are not the best way to whiten your skin. Neither should you go with the skin bleaching pills that many people take. The reason for this is that both home remedies and pills are not as effective as creams and soaps.
